Overview

Browns is a football academy site built around recruitment. A family deciding where a young player should train is checking the programme, the schedule and the record, so those sit at the front rather than behind a news feed.

Match photography runs full bleed behind the wordmark and sets the tone, then the page settles into plain, scannable blocks for the detail that decision actually rests on.

Approach

An academy site has two readers with different questions. The player wants to see the level and picture themselves in it; the parent wants the programme, the schedule and evidence the place is serious.

The page answers them in that order rather than choosing between them. Photography carries the first impression, then the layout drops to plain blocks with one action each, so the practical answers are never more than a scroll from the thing that got someone interested.

Results

The site works as a recruitment platform rather than a brochure. Clear structure and a visible record build credibility with players and parents at once, and the page holds up as intake grows.
